Horticulturist Susan Henson presents 3 free classes
Grand Prairie horticulturist/arborist Susan Henson will present a free 3-part program series at the Grand Prairie Main Library this March. No registration is necessary for this Thursday night series that runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
March 14, 2019: Spring Fever Garden – Have the urge to get out and dig in the dirt? We can help make it worthwhile by giving providing the information to grow your own veggies. Reduce your grocery bill; acquire the peace of mind received by growing your own organic, fresh and tasty food. Most of all break that spring fever bug through gardening. Let’s get growing!
March 21, 2019: The Good the Bad and the Buggly - Hey – not all bugs are bad! Don’t be bugged by the good guys. They are here to help but can you tell the difference? Ugly bugs are not all bad bugs so let us assist with what’s bugging you.
March 28, 2019: Lazy Gardens - Tired of high water bills, dead plants and sweating it out through all that summer landscape maintenance? Learn how to reduce your time in the garden through use of native and adaptive plants, appropriate soil preparation, proper watering and care in this made to order class.
