CitySquare Food, Summer 2022

CitySquare will be serving food and fun every weekday. Enjoy a free lunch for children ages 1 to 18 years and fun outdoor activities. Look for the food truck in the parking lot. All food must be eaten outside of the Main Library at the site of service. For more information about the program, check out www.citysquare.org or call 972-237-5704.

Due to traffic, the food truck may be a few minutes late some days.

Social Worker

Our Library Social Worker, Anne Marie Holstead, provides support and resources for a variety of needs.

She is available to help child, teen or adult patrons work through issues ranging from navigating mental health challenges, food or housing insecurity, locating resources or how to advocate for yourself in a changing world.

Anne Marie received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from Baylor University, and is a Licensed Master’s Social Worker. She previously worked for an agency within child welfare and has specific experience working with child development, trauma, and supporting inter-personal relationships.

Epic Book Club

The Grand Prairie Library is proud to support The Epic's Teen Book Club. Most selections are available to check out through the Library, including some as ebooks and audiobooks. Meetings are the last Monday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at The Epic.
