Volunteers have talents to share and a vision to help make Grand Prairie a great city.  Each day, volunteers make a lasting impact in the lives of others within our community.

There are many opportunities to get involved and help make Grand Prairie a great place to Live Life Grand!  The City invites volunteers to serve in one-time event assignments and longer-term, ongoing opportunities.

Start making a difference:

1. View current opportunities and apply online
2. Applicants under 18 should upload the signed Parent Consent Form(PDF, 305KB) into the online application, or email to volunteers@gptx.org (Please note that the minimum age to volunteer is 14, not all volunteer opportunities are available to youth, and some departments have other age requirements.)
3. Check your email! Our Volunteer Coordinator will be contacting you within a few days with everything you need to know to begin volunteering!

**Please note**: The portal above does not include volunteer assignments with the Police Department.
