Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3)

Step 1.Review Requirements

The following is required prior to issuance of a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWP3):

• Name, address and legal description of project
• Contractor (Primary Operator) and Owner (Secondary Operator) information
• All SWP3 documentation shall have all the signatory requirements in place by both Owner and Operator prior to submittal.
• A copy of the accepted SWP3 shall be kept on site and posting of the Construction Site Notice (CSN) and TCEQ Permit shall be in plain view of the general public.
• Copies of the filed Notice of Intent (NOI), Construction Site Notices (CSNs) must be submitted

Step 2.Apply Online

You can apply online for a SWP3 through the City of Grand Prairie's Customer Self-Service portal . First time users will need a valid email address to set up an account. It takes about 5 minutes to create a new account.

What next?

After completing the online application, permits are processed in approximately 3-5 business days. Depending on updates needed from the applicant, as this can result in longer approval times.
