Posted Date: 6/25/2014 8:45 AM

Prairie Paws Animal Adoption Center, 2222 W. Warrior Trail, is now equipped to provide more medical care to all adoptable animals. With the recent addition of an in-house clinic, Prairie Paws can perform on-site sterilization and rabies vaccination. All animals adopted from the shelter will now be sterilized and vaccinated for rabies.

Grand Prairie pet owners will also be able to get other required pet vaccinations at discounted prices from 10 a.m.-noon on September 27 and December 20. Representatives from the Texas Coalition of Animal Protection, TCAP, will be at Prairie Paws on these days to give low-cost immunizations.

Prairie Paws offers numerous adoption specials throughout the year. Regular adoptions are $70. This fee includes a microchip, the 5-in-1 and kennel cough vaccinations for dogs and the 3-in-1 FVRCP vaccination for cats. For the latest updates, visit gptx.org/paws and follow the shelter on Twitter @gp_prairiepaws.
