Booksigning: Pamela Knight
Living in the Fire
Posted Date: 5/5/2014

Grand Prairie author Pamela Flynt Knight will sign copies of her book, Living in the Fire, at the Grand Prairie Main Library from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2014.

Growing up in the 1960's, Pamela Flynt Knight has seen many changes. Rebellious hippies, the feminist movement, marriage, motherhood, divorce, being a grandparent and a businesswoman are all trials Pam has seen in her life. She has lived in many places and traveled outside of the United States. Having done temporary work, she had a plethora of jobs and worked with a myriad of personalities over the years. She attended Texas Tech University and years later graduated from Tyndale Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Cherishing family fuels the fire for her genealogy hobby. She is currently on the Grand Prairie Genealogical Society Board and a member of the Texas State Genealogical Society. Besides her genealogy, she has served as a volunteer with the Pregnancy Resources Center for twenty years where she also served several years on its Board of Directors. Pamela Flynt Knight has been an officer in Irving Women's Network, a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, two different chapters of Toastmasters International, 3 years received an Editor’s Choice Award for her poetry and in college was a member of the Phi Mu Fraternity. What Pam enjoys most is the time she spends with her friends and family.

Living in the Fire is not about instant miracles but living miracles -- how God manifests through circumstances in our lives to give us the strength, knowledge, and understanding we will need much further down the road.
