Texas Family Musicals opens its 2014 season with the World Premiere of Moments Remembered on Friday, March 21, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, March 22, 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Grand Prairie’s Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St.
Judy Norton, Mary Ellen on The Waltons, wrote the production and stars along with Don Most, Ralph from Happy Days. Like The Waltons TV series, it shows the power of a family unit in America today.
Texas Family Musicals plans to market the play to small theaters around the country, and eventually take it to New York as an Off Broadway production.
Norton and Most will appear after each performance to greet the crowd.
Tickets are on sale now and are $20-$35 and can be purchased at www.uptowntheatergp.com or by calling 972-237-8786.
