Texas Stars of Teen Lit

Texas stars of YA lit meet at the Warmack Library to talk about their work, their fans, and more. Join us at 7 pm on Monday, October 28 to meet these great authors for both teens and adults.

Jeramey Kraatz is a pop culture junkie, comic book nerd, and author of The Cloak Society. Studying nonfiction writing prepared him for a career in the animation industry, where he watches a lot of cartoons.

Heather Reid released her first book, Pretty Dark Nothing, in April. When she's not lost in a book, you might find her wandering the moors of her beloved Scotland, or exploring haunted castles

Mary Gray is a stay at home mom with three kids, and a fascination for all things creepy. Reading the Twilight series made her discover she couldn’t live without writing her own books. She is the author of Dollhouse Asylum, coming in October.

Victoria Scott is the author of The Collector and The Liberator. She loves creepy trees and cotton candy, and hates monkeys and robotic aliens.

Krissi Dallas teaches part-time and writes books and tours the rest of the time. She is the author of the Phantom Island series, set in the Texas Hill Country. She's passionate about her youth ministry work, singing in her choir, and even making cheesy music videos with her students.

The Warmack Branch is located at 760 Bardin Road in Grand Prairie. For more information, call 972-237-5772.
