Meow-loween Gives Away Cats for Free in October

GRAND PRAIRIE – Prairie Paws Animal Shelter, 2222 W. Warrior Trail, has a scary number of cats available for adoption, so we’re giving them away, no trick, all treat. Now through October, adult cats (older than 6 months) will be free and kittens will be $25. Regular price adoptions are $70. Witch cat will you choose? They don’t have a ghost of a chance without you.

Cats come with a 3-in-1 shot and a $50 spay or neuter voucher if they are not sterilized yet. Those wishing to adopt must complete an application and be approved before receiving their pet, and must provide proof of rabies vaccine and spay or neuter within 30 days of the adoption. Up to two pets per household may be adopted. The offer is valid only for new adoptions.

The Prairie Paws Animal Shelter is located at 2222 W. Warrior Trail and normal operating hours are:
Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (closed noon – 1 p.m.)
