The new Dallas County Government Center on 106 W. Church St. in Grand Prairie is scheduled to open in phases. The two-story, 32,000-square-foot sub-courthouse will serve as the local county government center housing District 4's Truancy Court, Justice of the Peace Court, tax offices, Juvenile Probation and Constable offices.

All court services and the constables office are planned to be open for business in the new facility on Monday, May 6, 2013. The Grand Prairie and Irving tax offices (car tags, city and county tax payments) will combine and be open for business in the new building on Monday, May 13.
