Container Gardening for Fun at Farmers Market
Posted Date: 6/6/2013

The Grand Prairie Farmers Market will feature a Container Gardening for Fun demonstration taught by Susan Henson at 10 a.m. and noon Saturday, June 22, at Market Square, 120 W. Main St.

During this timely demonstration you will learn how to put your own container garden together. You will also learn how to water, feed and have fun in the garden with containers. You control the soil, water and nutrients. Containers can be moved as needed and can make excellent decorations at your next party. Everyone is welcome to view the demonstration and learn how to make your own container garden.

The Grand Prairie Farmers Market sells locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, cheeses, wines, tamales, candles, soaps and much more. The market is open every Saturday, March to December, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
