Volunteers from AARP are providing free tax assistance for low-income and elderly residents at the Main Library, 901 Conover Drive, Feb. 4 through April 15, 2013. Sessions are each Monday and Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring any W2 and 1099 forms. A copy of last year's tax return is also helpful.
Distribution of tax forms to public libraries has been delayed by the recent passage of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012. We will make forms available as soon as they are provided to us.
