Kirby Creek Garden
The Kirby Creek Nature Center’s Exhibition Garden is a collaborative effort of the City of Grand Prairie and the Grand Prairie ISD. Kids work with an onsite environmental science instructor to learn about nature. Every student in the district comes out to the garden at least one time per year. Certified Master Composters and other city volunteers manage the garden. They compost grass and leaves and use the finished product to support butterfly, herb and vegetable gardens! [READ MORE]
