In today's financial climate one may wonder how a green lifestyle will affect your bottom line. The reality is that anyone can choose a green lifestyle. It costs nothing for citizens to pick up litter, recycle plastics or use water wisely. We know that using a microwave in the summer rather than turning on the oven will reduce our electricity bill. Having a light colored roof will reflect more radiation than a dark color. Additionally, caulking around windows, doors, vents and electric outlets is a cheap and effective way to weatherize your home.

With increased investment, you can enjoy greater savings. Some of these investments include additional insulation, radiant barrier, Energy Star rated windows and appliances, tank-less water heaters and water saving devices.
