Advises the city council on library policies and issues, including the rules, regulations and by-laws which may be deemed necessary for the administration, government and protection of the library. Also helps determine the need for the purchase of books and related library materials; library improvements; establishment of branch libraries and facilities; and administration of gifts and bequests or legacies made to the city for library purposes.
Meets fourth Mondays at 6 p.m.

Mayor and council members appoint one member each.
