The airport has a 4,000-foot-long, 75-foot-wide lighted, concrete runway, repair service and cargo handling, a helipad, dining facilities and support facilities for training, private aviation and business flying activities.
The airport is designated in the FAA National Plan of Integrated Airport System and the Texas Aeronautical Facilities Plan.
The airport handles planes ranging from small piston planes to large business turboprop aircraft and helicopters. It lies three miles southwest of downtown.
Tie-down space and FBO services are available. There are 227 individual T-hangars at the airport. A new terminal will be constructed in 2010 and construction of a new Air Traffic Control Tower is planned for 2011.
A self-fueling island provides both Jet A (no additive) and 100LL.
