"Spark a reaction" in other teens with your art

Teens, your original art could “spark a reaction” in other Grand Prairie teens this summer. Submit your artwork for a chance to be featured in online and print publicity for the Teen Summer Reading Challenge. The Teen Summer Reading Challenge kicks off on June 2!

Rules:

  • Contest is open to all teens ages 13 and up.
  • Submissions are due no later than February 28th at 5:00 PM.
  • All entries must somehow represent the phrase “Spark a Reaction at Your Library”, the theme of the 2014 Teen Summer Reading Challenge.
  • Teens may enter as many original 8 1/2 x 11 sized drawings as they would like either in person or via email at infodesk@gptx.org.
  • Please do not put your name or any identifiable information on your artwork itself, we will make sure you get proper credit.
  • Original, digital artwork may be submitted in .jpg, 300 dpi is preferred.
  • The Grand Prairie Library system reserves the right to disqualify any entries that display or promote objectionable material or language.

Print the entry form or get one at the Library.

You may also email a submission to infodesk@gptx.org. Be sure to attach your art. Please use "teen art contest" for the subject.

Open the entry form, and fill it in. Save it to your computer, and attach it to your email.
