Forest of Fear Hayrides at Loyd Park
Posted Date: 10/1/2012

Take a tour of Loyd Park’s haunted campsites on an old-fashioned family-friendly hayride Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27. Hayrides will begin at dark and end at 11 p.m. Visitors are encouraged to wear their costume and enjoy a fun hayride through Halloween-themed campsites decorated by guests in the park.

Campers at the park are required to decorate their campsite for the event and enter into a contest for best decorations, best original pumpkin and best patterned pumpkin. Each year, campsites are lit up with decorations and campers dress up to create a fun, spooky Halloween experience for the campers. As the hayride makes its way through the park, campers shower hayriders with candy and show off their wildly decorated campsites.

Snack food and drinks will be available for purchase. Vehicle admission fee for the hayride is $10. Loyd Park is located at 3401 Ragland Road. For more information, call 972-237-8100.
