The Grand Prairie Farmers Market will open the 2013 season with BBQ and Blues 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Market Square, 120 W. Main St., featuring food trucks, BBQ provided by Double Throw Down Barbecue, live music by the Grammy-nominated "The Crawfish Band" and other blues bands, gift market, bounce house, face painter, game truck and more. Double Throw Down Barbecue will be serving their award winning ribs as well as sausage on a stick and hot dogs.
