GRAND PRAIRIE—There has been a kitty’plosion at Prairie Paws Adoption Center, 2222 W. Warrior Trail. The shelter is overrun with kittens, so adoption prices have been drastically cut. From May 27-31, all kittens will be available for adoption for only $5. Cats aged one-year-old and older will be free. This deal won’t last, and these cuddly kittens are expected to find families to love quickly, so hurry in. Regular price adoptions are $70.
The adoption fee includes a $50 spay or neuter voucher for pets that are not yet sterilized. All animals will be micro-chipped and will receive the 3-in-1 FVRCP vaccination for cats. Those wishing to adopt must complete an application and be approved before receiving their pets, and they must provide proof of rabies vaccine and spay or neuter within 30 days of the adoption. Up to two pets per household may be adopted. This offer is valid only for new adoptions.
