Texas Family Musicals Remembers the Night the Music Died Aug. 9-11

Audience members will be dancing in the aisles to the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper at The Night the Music Died performed at Grand Prairie's Uptown Theater, 120 E. Main St.

Performance times are:
2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 9
2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, August 10
2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 11

This Texas Family Musicals performance takes the audience back to the fateful night when the rock and roll legends performed in their last concert at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake Iowa on Feb. 2, 1959. This will be the seventh consecutive year that the show has been with Texas Family Musicals. This year Kevin Kratzke will be playing the legendary Buddy Holly. This popular show sells out fast, so get your tickets early.
