The Emergency Management Department:
- Monitors weather for flash floods, violent storms and tornadoes.
- Establishes emergency shelters for disasters i.e. tornadoes or floods.
- Operates Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during disasters to coordinate and maintain essential city services.
