Plan

• The Grand Prairie Police Department is requesting funds through the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's Office for Justice Assistance Grant funds to reduce crime and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the police department by employing new and latest technology available to law enforcement agencies. Equipment includes an Automated License Plate Recognition System installed in several patrol fleet vehicles and a Sky Watch Tower to be located at business and commercial areas to deter criminal activity.
