Sick Leave

Sick leave is an important benefit to help employees who are unable to work due to sickness. All full-time employees will accrue 4.37 hours sick leave per paycheck with unlimited accrual (26 paychecks per year).

Regular part-time employees scheduled to work 20 hours per week will accrue 2 hours and 19 minutes per pay check.

Regular part-time employees scheduled to work 30 hours per week will accrue 3 hours and 28 minutes per pay check.

Firefighter 24-hour shift personnel will accrue 6 hours and 55 minutes per pay check.
