The mission of the Purchasing Division is to procure goods and services in an effective, timely, and cost effective manner while adhering to all Federal, State and Local statutes.

The City of Grand Prairie welcomes the opportunity to do business with interested vendors in the community. The City's Purchasing Division is interested in fostering participation with all qualified businesses offering commodities and services that may be used by the City.

How do I become a registered vendor to do business with the City of Grand Prairie?

Is it necessary to register with BidSync to do business with the City of Grand Prairie? -

Supplier participation in BidSync is not a requirement for doing business with the City of Grand Prairie; however, it is the quickest and most efficient means for notification of bid opportunities. Bid notices are also advertised in these areas:

  • At the Fiscal Administration Building at 326 W. Main St., Grand Prairie, TX  75050
  • In the Fort Worth Star Telegram
  • In the Electronic State Business Daily
  • in BidSynce

How do I find out who has been awarded a bid I applied for?

If you submitted a bid or proposal, you will be contacted by the buyer responsible for the bid award detailing the bid award.  If you did not submit a bid or proposal, contact the buyer responsible for the bid award or e-mail Purchasing. A full listing of bid award notices are listed on the City's website under "Bid Notices".
