The Grand Prairie Libraries help you meet your fitness goals with a summer of free programs for all ages.

For adults:
Zumba Classes
6:30-7:30 p.m.
Main Library: June 5, 12, 19 & 26
Warmack Library: July 17, July 24, July 31 and August 7
Workouts should be fun and easy too! Join us for this aerobic dance class.

Camp Gladiator
7 p.m.
Main Library: June 8, July 13 and August 10
Looking for a workout program that makes you feel part of a community instead of just a number on a treadmill? Come check out our complimentary fit chat and mini workout offered by Camp Gladiator! Be sure to bring water, and a sweat towel (we will be outside).

Intermediate Latin Dancing with Loui
7 to 8 p.m.
Warmack Library: July 11, July 18, July 25 and August 1 
Participants will have the opportunity to improve their skills with a variety of Latin dance styles and have a good time while doing it.

For kids:
Zumba with Ernesto from United Dance Academy

Show us how you’re Wild About Reading with this exhilarating dance program that blends upbeat world
rhythms with family fun.

Yoga Babies
11 a.m. 
 Main Library: June 19 
For babies 0-12 months. We welcome Carl Bright, of Yoga Plus Fit. This special Book Babies program will focus on yoga poses that caregivers can do with their baby. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat or blanket. Space is limited, registration is required. Kid’s Yoga
All libraries on August 14
Shotwell Library: 10:30 a.m. 
Main Library: 1 p.m. 
Warmack Library: 3:30 p.m.
Come practice mindfulness in yoga. Have fun learning breathing techniques and poses to promote physical fitness and relaxation. This program will put you in the mood to curl up and escape with a good book.

For teens:
Color Water Fight
3:30 p.m.
Warmack: June 6
Shotwell: June 7 
Main: June 8
PERMISSION SLIP REQUIRED. Join us for our annual color water fight to kick off the summer! Note: Colored water will temporarily dye skin and may permanently dye your clothes.

Nerf Capture the Flag
3:30 p.m.
Warmack: June 27 
Shotwell: June 28 
Main: June 29
Bring your own Nerf Gun for a game of Nerf Capture the Flag outside the library just for teens and tweens.

Giant Games
3:30 p.m.
Warmack: July 18 
Shotwell: July 19 
Main: July 20
We’ll be outside the library for this program. Play giant versions of some classic games like Jenga, bowling and more.
