Post Date:05/30/2017

“Food on the Move” is a free lunch program presented by CitySquare of Dallas, and hosted by the Grand Prairie Main Library. From June 5 through August 11, each weekday from 2 to 2:45 p.m., Citysquare will be serving a free lunch to kids ages 1 to 18 years. Kids will also enjoy fun activities such as kickball, card games, and more.

Look for the food truck in the parking lot, and please keep all food outside the library building. For more information, check out www.citysquare.org/programs/food or call 972-237-5715.

CitySquare is a community development organization offering a comprehensive array of social services that address four key areas related to the persistence of poverty: hunger, health, housing, and hope. CitySquare’s Food on the Move program provides free nutritious meals to children during summer at selected community partner sites. The mobile meal program delivers meals to kids in non-traditional sites such as apartment complexes, reaching children whose families face transportation, economic, and other barriers to access traditional food programs.
