Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful is a program within the City of Grand Prairie's Solid Waste and Recycling Division that focuses on the three main pillars of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful: litter prevention, recycling, and beautification. KGPB partners with the local school district and local businesses as well as scout troops and other volunteer groups to help make Grand Prairie the cleanest, greenest, most beautiful place to live, work, and play.

The KGPB Commission meets monthly, supporting the goals of Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful.

Free E-Waste Recycling for Grand Prairie Businesses and Residents Nov. 16

A free e-waste recycling event for Grand Prairie businesses and residents will be 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at First United Methodist Church Youth Building, 122 N. Center St.

The event is sponsored by Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful, Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce, the Clean Company Program, and ECS Refining.
