Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful is a program within the City of Grand Prairie's Solid Waste and Recycling Division that focuses on the three main pillars of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful: litter prevention, recycling, and beautification. KGPB partners with the local school district and local businesses as well as scout troops and other volunteer groups to help make Grand Prairie the cleanest, greenest, most beautiful place to live, work, and play.

The KGPB Commission meets monthly, supporting the goals of Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful.

Celebrating America Recycles Day with Free E-Waste Collection Event

Grand Prairie businesses and residents are invited to a free e-waste recycling event to celebrate America Recycles Day 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at First United Methodist Church, 122 N. Center St.

Keep Grand Prairie Beautiful is also hosting a business clothing collection event benefiting the Grand Prairie Food and Clothing Co-op. Please make sure the clothing is clean and usable. We do not have the ability to wash the clothing.
