Shop the market and explore the sights and sounds of Main Street Fest in downtown Grand Prairie. Main Street Fest is a free community event that runs Friday through Sunday, April 21-23, on the 200 block of West Main Street and the surrounding areas.
Farmers Market will be open regular hours on April 22 (8 a.m. to 1 p.m.) but there will not be any vendors on the lawn area that day since the Main Street KidZone will be set up.
Along with our selected performers, the festival will celebrate the fun, festive, family atmosphere of Grand Prairie with live music featuring Texas country singer-songwriter Pat Green, with additional performances from Reckless Kelly, Clay Thrash, Kasey Clay, Jolie Holliday with Sonny Burgess, The Inspiration Band, Monica Saldivar and Grand Prairie’s very own Tejas Brothers and Monica Saldivar, who are both set to open for the four-time Grammy Award winning super group, La Mafia.
While at the festival, enjoy a variety of spectacular novelty performances, carnival rides, an arts and crafts area, business expo vendors, three entertainment stages, food and beer gardens, an Earth Day inspired KidZone hosted by the U.S. Army Reserves, and more.
The Grand Prairie Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays from April through December featuring locally grown fruits and vegetables, meats, honeys, pastries, desserts, salsas, and more. The market was voted #1 best farmers market in Texas and 6th best in the nation for the second year in a row in the American Farmland Trust voting contest.
