Livestock
Animal Services works with the Tarrant and Dallas County Sheriffs offices in handling livestock complaints. Most impounded livestock goes to the Dallas County facility in southeast Dallas where all impound procedures, fees, etc., are set by the Dallas County Sheriff.
Traps are available for free at the Prairie Paws Adoption Center. A trap agreement sheet must be signed. Residents will be instructed on how to use the traps and Animal Services will service them if an animal is trapped.
